Attorney Johnny Pineyro

As managing partner and founder of the Pineyro Law Firm, Johnny A. Pineyro began his law career in Miami, Florida as a trial attorney. He gained important courtroom experience while trying over 100 cases. He soon learned his passion was fighting for and representing the injured. Soon after joining a personal injury law firm in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida he became a partner and shareholder of Toral Garcia Pineyro & Franz. In 2008 Johnny Pineyro launched the Pineyro Law Firm, located in the Pineyro Law Center in the Orlando area. The Pineyro Law Firm takes great pride in serving our clients and the community.

Mr. Pineyro is very active in the community and encourages everyone at the Pineyro Law Firm to volunteer at a minimum of three charity events per year. Johnny currently serves as a Board Member of Challenge Air, an organization dedicated to the enrichment of the lives of children with disabilities through aviation. He has also served as an Impact Circle Member of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of South Florida and has also dedicated countless hours to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida. The Pineyro Law Firm is also very active with Give Kids the World.

Key Accomplishments

  • Successfully campaigned and raise capital on behalf of the Florida Justice Association on issues concerning the rights of those injured by the medical negligence of health care providers.
  • Diligently handled Bad-Faith Claims through litigation including the settlement of a claim for $600,000.00 against US Security (Policy was $10,000.00)
  • Extensively litigated wrongful death trucking case for a settlement for over $1 million for the death of a migrant worker before jury selection (including punitive damages claim)
  • Prepared and argued successfully federal court removal/remand motion(s) based upon a lack of diversity in several department store cases
  • Handled both liability and damages in West Palm Beach case that settled for $6.1 million before trial in 2006

Attorney Joseph A. Mesa

Joseph A. (Tony) Mesa, III graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University in Miami, Florida, where he received his bachelor’s degree in political science. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Following law school, Tony worked in the litigation department of a large Miami law firm, where he gained extensive experience in the area of complex commercial litigation. A member of the Florida Justice Association, the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association and the Cuban American Bar Association, Tony joined the firm at its inception and now primarily focuses his practice in the area of general personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Tony is involved in a number of charitable organizations, including the United Way and Habitat for Humanity. Tony is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He is fluent in Spanish.
